Ruined King: A League of Legends Story

Ruined King was such a cool project. It was my first single-player project, and I couldn’t have been luckier. I was always a big fan of Riot and the League of Legends IP. I was truly blessed with the opportunity to, not only work within the world of Runeterra, but to contribute to it!
I designed and implemented several features and sequences within the game, including all writing and design of the Legendary Weapon quests. Multiple dungeon gameplay sequences, and narrative-driven finale content.
In addition to content ownership, I was responsible for defining the rules and standards for the in-game cinematic system, which was used across the entire game to deliver dialogue, character moments, and visual storytelling. I created guidelines and best practices that empowered the rest of the team to implement cinematics efficiently and consistently.
I also contributed to multiple in-game dungeons, building out bespoke encounters, scripted events, and cutscenes!
